H-harness shoulder straps help the user
retai n upri ght trunk posi ti on. To adjust,
i nsert the bolt at the end of the strap
through the grommet hole i n the seat back.
Grommet choi ce should be level wi th or
hi gher than the top of the shoulders.
Choose a hole that wi ll keep the user
secure wi thout the strap rubbi ng agai nst
the face or neck. Secure the strap wi th the
threaded knob. Fig. 20 & 21
Shoulder pads for the
H- harness are standard.
The pads come equi pped
wi th a snap buckle for

Dependi ng on the user’s degree of abili ty or
prescri pti on from a doctor or physi cal therapi st, the
back angle may need adjustment. Adjusting the back
angle may also affect the seat depth.
Parti ally fold chai r to reli eve fabri c tensi on (see
foldi ng i nstructi ons on page 4). Unhook the Velcro®
stri p at the back of the chai r connecti ng the seat
fabri c to the back fabri c. Use a wrench (7/16”) to
remove the bolt connecti ng the seat tube to the back
tube. Relocate to desi red posi ti on and replace bolt.
Repeat on other si de. Reattach the Velcro® stri p.
