If the front wheels develop

a shimmy, use a wrench to

tighten the stem nut. Adjust

the stem nut clockwise until

the shimmy disappears.

Wheel Lock Adjustment

Anti-Shimmy

Set wheel locks to locked

position. Push chair with

light pressure on the rear

wheels. If wheel rotates,

adjust tension by turning

the adjustment nut until

wheels no longer rotate

while locked. Fig.69

Caution:

Wheel lock

adjustment

should be

inspected

periodically.
